It will pass, give it time you just had a major surgery and your body has to adjust, to your new stomach!! My Dr. prescribed me nausea meds that worked great!! After my two day hospital stay I was fine… the first two weeks are the worst, Give it time it will get better!!! My Dr. also prescribe an acid reducer it takes some time to get into your system .

Before surgery, they gave me a little patch to wear behind my ear for nausea. It was supposed to last for 3 days but I took it off on the second day. I don't know the exact name of the medication but it was what they prescribe for motion sickness. It gives you a horrible dry mouth but that just motivates you to drink more.

You might want to check and see if something like that is available to you for nausea. I was told to make sure when I take it off to wash my hands after as the medication will dialate your eyes for 24 hours if you accidently rub your face with it on your fingers.

I actually have those patches for travel. I wonder if I should try them, or call the dr first

Call the dr. First. It may not be exactly the same or there may be stronger doses available via prescription.

I was SOOO nauseated and vomiting violently for the first three days after surgery, and the nausea meds were making it worse, but then suddenly I just felt better and have never been nauseated since. I hope you're feeling better again soon as well.
