A bit of a milestone

I submitted my request for time off from work, and my boss approved it. It's on the schedule now. He wasn't thrilled with me taking the time off, so now it feels really official!:clap2:

Good luck with your upcoming surgery. I remember being really excited before mine. You will do great and its nice to know your boss was supportive.

He really is, which helps. The only issue was that summer is busy for us, he would have rather I waited until Oct, which I'm not willing to do.

Good luck! Telling my employer was a hurdle too!

It was interesting, because he didn't know much about lap-banding, and was interested to hear what it involved. I figure, he wants me healthy so I'll work harder, right?!
