Hey Peaches!

I'm not a truck driver but I am on the road 2-3 weeks/month driving around. I was off my pain pills Day 3 and back on the road Day 6. But it all depends on how your feeling and managing your pain. Then again, it's really up to your Dr, but go in there with the right outcome attitude and he just may release you.

Good Luck!

Please post an update after you've seen your doctor. I'm looking at having surgery in June and I'm also a professional driver (test/pre-production cars, not trucks) and I drive 7-8 hours/day. I'm hoping to take off only a week or a week and a half, so I'd like to know what your doc says, and also how you feel when you are back at work.

Good luck to you!
