I had my consult with my surgeon today!! He is awesome. I am self pay so I was able to set my date today and also squeeze in my nutrition class!. My date for and EGD is scheduled and I am on my way. I could have had my surgery in 2 weeks, but chickened out and set it for JUNE 13th. I am scared to death but also very excited to get my life back. I am so not looking forward to the pre-op diet, but hey I must keep my eyes on the prize. I want to thank everyone on this site for your continued support. You are a great bunch!!

Melissa congrats on your date!!! I'm not looking forward to the pre op diet either but I'm gonna do it cause I want this surgery more than I've ever wanted anything in my life!! Good luck to you!

Do you work out anywhere near sugarland? I live near there..maybe we can be sleeve buddies!! The support would be great

Congrats! I hope to be right there with you soon. Just keep thinking about where you will be 1 year from now and you will get through the pre-op diet!
