Just don't know what to do....

Ok - I am scheduled for surgery May 2nd -I have my EGD tomorrow- so - I sat down with my DH and talked to him about this whole process- (not that I havn't been talking non-stop about it the last 3 months) but I think he finally understood what I was doing last night and now tells me that he does not want me to do it- but that if "I" choose to do it anyway- he will support me- which I am grateful for but I am just at a lost for words- this whole time he has just kept saying yeah I think you should- but now- why now- he thinks I will be sick for a long time- I have had a surgery every year for the last five years and just now feeling up to par after the last one- I think may be why he is questioning it- but thought I would get on here and ask you what you all think- what should I tell him- he is just worried- but so am I- just questioning a lot right now...

He is just scared for your safety. My DH was the same way. And even until I just had it done, was opposed, but supported me because I was so set on it. Just be calm and keep explaining. He may not feel better until it is done and you are losing and becoming healthier. ;)

Thanks- How are you doing? I see you are only a few days out-
