12 days out and doing good.

I'm now 12 day post op and I'm just about back to feeling normal again. My energy level has improved each day, and I don't tire so easy with walking. I spent 3 days in the hospital because of an unexplained fever, which sucked because it's hard to really rest with nurses and aids coming in and out of your room so frequently. So far I have tolerated everything I have tried easily.which in my opinion has been a blessing. Also so far no heartburn, nausea or other complications. I have to thank god for it being such an easy journey so far. If anybody has questions I am more than willing to answer. I would love to pay the board back for all the useful information it has provided me.

Forgot the NSV's that I have had so far...

Looser fitting clothing already! I am wearing a T shirt that I bought and wore once 2 1/2 years ago because it shrunk. Now it fits!

Fitting into booths at restaurants! I have taken the kids out to eat a few times and I already fit into booths that my gut used to drag on!

My knees can already feel the difference!

:D that is really awesome..You are doing really good. before you know it you will be running a 5 k race..

Lol I don't know about a 5k, never been a run for fun kinda guy, but definitely getting back to the old me walking the river fishing, hunting, and hopefully getting back into a softball league.

Congrats on making the "loser's bench" ...glad things are going well!
