9 days Post-Op and I'm feeling pretty good! Went to Whole Foods yesterday and eyed all the healthy things I'm going to eat in 12 days (mushie/soft stage). Yea!! I've never been so happy about mushie/soft food in my life!
It's getting easier to prepare dinner for my family and not have "Food Envy." This surgery is doing more than making me healthy, It's also forcing better food and eating habits for my family.
I spent time this morning going through my pantry and getting rid of all the "Fatty-fat" foods. It feels so good to be focused on the goal at hand and also changing the life of other too (my family).
Anyway, I have lost a total of 18 lbs in a little over 3 weeks (2 wk pre-op diet -6 lbs and 9 days fluids -12 lbs). Yea sleeve!! Looking forward to the scale going lower and lower. However, I'm not looking forward to looking like a "Flying Squirrel!"
Have a wonderful healthy day, guys!!
