I had my consultation, NUT evaluation and labs yesterday. Have my Psych Evaluation on the 29th and just waiting on the letter from my PCP. I am nervous and anxious all at the same time. I had been given the choice of sleeve or RNY and I can't say I have completely made up my mind, but I am leaning toward the sleeve. The sleeve is what my surgeon suggested and said, "If it were me I would get the sleeve." I trust my surgeon, therefore I am probably going for the sleeve. Have my endoscopy on Monday and colonoscopy on friday, lol. How about having the whole system checked out in a week I'm on my way to the new me! Glad I finally made up my mind to have Bariatric surgery.

Congrats! I say go for the sleeve. I was hesitant about it when I met with my surgeon at first but after I started reading this site I was convinced that it was the thing for me. I was sleeved three weeks ago and I couldn't be more happier.

Continue to read the posts here and do your research but I think you will find that this particular surgery is the way to go.
