Typically they say wait for about 6 weeks for strenuous activities. This will allow the incisions to heal all the way through. If it's just paddling around in a pool then maybe less but why chance it?

I am really glad you asked that question. I love to swim and I was also wondering my self..

Thanks! That makes me feel alot better. I thought it would be like months before i could swim agian but I think I can easily wait 6 weeks. :D

How long do you have to wait to swim agian after the surgery?

I was told to wait 4 weeks before any total immersion, no baths, no hottubs, no pools, no lakes etc. Only showers. I did sit in the bath with a little Water to shave my legs because our shower is impossible to shave in.
