Lump in my Throat

I'm 4 weeks out and have noticed a feeling of having a lump in my throat for the past several days. Seems like I notice it after breakfast (normally a protein shake) and it sticks around the rest of the day no matter what I eat or drink. It's uncomfortable and makes me wonder if I've done something to my throat. Has this happened to anyone else?:(

You should definetly call your doctor. I am no expert, but I have heard that you can get a hernia post op, prob not what it is, but go it checked out for sure. Good Luck, hope you feel better soon.

Calling the doc is a good idea, do it just to make sure.

At 4 weeks out you SHOULD be far enough out that any soreness from the operation should be gone. You are intubated and a boughie is put down your esophagus.

I too had this sensation and it either went away or I am now used to it.
