4 weeks post-op and having issues with soft foods

Ok, I am a little over 4 weeks post-op and I am having this "hung up" feeling everytime I eat. It doesn't matter what consistency or what size bite I take. I can't eat more than one or 2 bites before it starts, and it occasionally happens when I take a drink. Any words of wisdom? Thanks.

Hopefully someone with more experience will answer this... I think you might want to contact your surgery nurse or office, this sound like it could be a stricture to me... Good luck with that!

Thanks, I did a little research in my nursing books, and from what I've read a stricture usually causes vomiting. But, it is something to consider.

Could be some irritation in the lining of the esophagus or top of stomach. Do you take PPI's like Nexium? I had this feeling right when I started eating more solid foods and again last night. I took some gasx in the strip form and it worked wonders getting rid of that feeling.
