another ppi question

I was just getting a little hungry before and I really didn’t mind because it seemed like a reminder that I need to eat every two, three hours, I eat about 800 calories a day. I complained to my doctor because I didn’t like taking the ppi twice a day so he put me on Nexium. Which seemed to make my hunger so much worse I had to stop taking it. Now I feel hunger pains even when I’m eating, my stomach doesn’t stop gurgling. I am 2 months out and am wondering if I should call and ask for another ppi and any advice on what I should ask for? I really hope it is because I need to take a ppi and not because I am this hungry. Also, how do you take your ppi, everyday the same time, with food, etc.?

Thank you for the help

Janine
