Help, surgery this Wed....

How much more miserable can I get? I'm on clear liquids only till surgery, I have nasty yeast infection I'm trying to heal with monistat and my period is due to start the day of my surgery

Any advice, this won't hinder my surgery date will it?

Thanks

Yeast infections are a real pain. I used to get them all the time. Can your doctor call a script in for you to get some dyflucan? it's a pill and is way better than those creams and suppositories.

Don' t worry if you have your period on/near your surgery date. It happens all the time and I have never heard of anyone's surgery being postponed because of it.

They won't cancel your surgery because of it. I have read many posts where people had their "friend" visit on surgery day. I hope you can get the infection cleared up quickly for your big day. They do have one day treatments now, so I would seek that out! As far as your monthly friend, hopefully the surgery will be so stressful to your body that it will hold off. That is what happened with me. Good luck and hang in there. You will do great! Don't worry!
