Sick from vitamins

So every day when i take my multi Vitamin, i get really sick. light headed, nasuses, cold sweats, just plain nasty feeling. I make sure i have some sort of food in me. and no matter what time of day i take it i get the same thing. today i took it about 15 minutes after eating my yogurt, yesterday about 15 minutes after eating 2 turkey meatballs. does anyone know what could be the problem? oh I am taking One a Day Energy formula, have always taken them in the past with no problems, since i have thyroid problems, need the extra energy!!!

thanks,

Patti

PS- Official weigh in today, 164.8!!!! Lower than my lowest band weight!

Could it be the caffeine additives? It has the guarana blend for energy which is the caffeine stuff to up your heart rate and gives you the energy. Apparently, the caffeine content is equal to a cup of coffee, but could the additives be contributing to your nausea?

Have you tried switching to another product to see if it's the formulation that's causing the nausea?

I use Celebrate chewables with zero issues, and before switching to Celebrate I used a GNC chewable with Iron without issue.

Congrats on your success thus far, you're doing great ! ! !

Wow thanks Tiff, you are a wealth of info! they never before bothered me, but i guess sine the tummy is so much smaller now! I saw on QVC yesterday these little packs of vitamins that have everything you need for the day, i was thinking of getting them. I just grab my vites and throw them in my pocket now and if i forget to take them, in the wash they go! not a good method by any means!!! The Dr that was on said they were even good for WLS patients! Hey if I do not like them I can always return them!

Hey Tiff!

Is there any specific reason that you have stayed on a chewable Vitamin other then personal preference?

I was cleared to take pills and have been taking a regular vitamin whole since last week with no pain at all... Just wondering if I should be on a chewable for some other reason....??
