Cramping Normal?

Hi all,

I am 4 days post surgery and have a drain inserted. I am getting cramping around the drain site but it feels more like it is on the inside. Sometimes it feels like the cramping is coming from my stomach. Just wondering if this was normal?

    Only thing I can suggest is have you asked your surgeon? I don't believe I've seen that to be the case on here before, however that doesn't mean it's necessarily bad either.

    I hope someone can chime in and lend some help for you.

    Thanks for the info. I have a message in to my doctor just to make sure. The cramping has gone away but I want to make sure in case it comes back.
