Two weeks to go

I'm down to the last two weeks of waiting. I'm pretty nervous but I am confident that I am making the right decision. (that's still not helping my nerves though lol). Does any one have any suggestions for me on what I should bring or what I should make sure that I have at home when I get back. I also wanted to thank everyone for their posts on this site, the information that I have gathered as well as the words of encouragement that I have received are appreciated. I can't wait for the new year and the new me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, i can't really answer your questions i've not been sleeved myself yet but just wanted to say i know how you feel. One minute i'm excited and the next as nervous as hell.

I keep writing lists of things i'm going to take with me that grows daily and i probably won't use any of it but i like to be prepared! I have one tub of protein powder for when i come home and jello and will see how it goes.

I was very off/on with it before my surgery too. Looking back I should have been 100% for it! Chin up!

Get a heating pad, broths, Jello, and sugar free pop-cycles before you go - cover your basics at least. cool.gif

you will do fine ...go in with a positive attitude. after your surgery and when u start to feel better ....u then will realize u have made an awesome decision. it is life changing believe me

Hope this reaches you in time MyNewLife;
