Like a Jagged Little Pill

chillpill.gifI have a bottle of GNC multi which are these big green horse pills, I bought a pill crusher and split them in half for AM and PM same thing with Calcium Citrate I split it, I thought it might be easier going down, I know a lot of you use chewables like Flintstones is there a particular reasonblink.gif? I wanted to use these pills and not waste the money so I am hoping that they can get in somehow. I am getting sleeved tomorrow, I have the protein on board and little 3oz cups so I can measure things out. If you can share with me your jagged little pill experiences and also if you can think of anything else I would truly appreciate it. I have not yet purchased the B12 sublingual, GNC was out(can you believe it!!cool.gif). iloveuall.GIFhuggie.gif

I was told not to take the calcium at the same time as iron for absorption reasons. So check to see if you vitamin as added iron. Also, I bought my B12 sub lingual at Walmart....green bottle called Spring Valley. I think the 2 Flinstones are equal to 1 adult vitamin which is why some people take the Flintstone. Basically, you just need a chewable multi vitamin. Are the vitamins that you are splitting chewable? If not, then try taking them back and explain that you are having surgery and need a chewable. I hope this helps. :)

I also heard you do not want to take your Vitamins w/minerals...about the absorption thing. I have liquid calcium and liquid vitamins from the Vitamin Shoppe. They're ok, but I hate taking horse pills.

My Dr just said to make sure you don't get the gummy vites b/c they could get stuck in your stomach opening. yeowtch!

Good luck!
