Hi All
I was sleeved 5 days ago in Edinburgh, Scotland. So far things have been text book, no leaking etc, been home for 2 days. i still have pain when i drink (gas coming back up) and am eating tiny amounts of Soup. Im feeling a little bit down, as im pretty hungry, yet can only eat liquids, and when i do i then feel sick and sore.. i know its early days and i guess i just have to wait for the swelling to go down.
I do have a few worries that have been going round and round in my head and driving me crazy... its hard to believe ill lose weight as ive been big all my life and i cant imagine myself thin.. so im convinced this wont work and ill have wasted soo much money... i also still have major cravings for chocolate and crisps and right now bread... i know these are head cravings not body ones, but still difficult to get past. it also annoys me that i now think about food all day, which is something i dont want to do...
Ive been reading the boards and i guess most people have felt this way too, i just have to be patient...
a few questions..
when will i start being able to eat "normally" (albeit much smaller amounts)?
I play rollerderby and am worried about not being able to eat enough before a 3 hours session and feeling faint.. any tips for high energy healthy small foods?
Do you ever feel "nice and full" or do you just know you are getting full by starting to feel a bit of pain? (as im doing now)
thanks
