clammy, dizzy, pale, numb????

Last nite about 10 pm, out of the blue, i started to sweat, felt clammy, dizzy, nausea, then my hands and arms went numb and i thought i was going to pass out. I had more nutrition yesterday than i have since surgery. I had a protien shake with a 1/2 banana and tablespoon of PB, and a can of tomatoes soup with a can of skim milk and my clear fluids also increased. i felt really good all day and then last night when i was getting ready for bed this happened. the shake and soup were earlier in the day, noon, 3pm and 5pm. I felt more normal than i have since surgery, I have no idea what happened, it lasted for about an hour, but then i haven't felt right since then and i look really pale. i have no pain or fever, anything and oh yeah, my heart rate was 45, not the first time, a couple days ago my pulse was low too, my BP is normal. did this ever happen to anyone else, what could it be? thanks vicki~~

Sounds like low blood sugar to me -- can you drink any fruit juices or anything?

I did drink a glass of v8 fusion and i have had low blood sugar before and this felt different and i wasnt shaky....

Are you sure you are getting plenty of water and fluids as well? I experienced those same symptoms after my surgery and ended up in the hospital with severe dehydration. I cannot stress to everyone now how important it is to make sure you are getting plenty of fluids.
