Lump on the side

Hi everyone! I was sleeved on november 4th and I think I´m doing fine... Sure, the first two days weren´t easy but I´m a whole lot better now, no nausea, no reflux, never got sick but I have a lump on the side of my belly the stomach is, just above the suture... Is that normal? Don´t wanna worry but sometimes I feel pressure there and I can´t help it

If someone could please help me I´ll be very very grateful!

Its probably just scar tissue. I have one 3 1/2 weeks later on the side of my stomach where everything drained. I didnt have a drain tube, its just where it all drained from. I've been told to rub it a few times a day, as much as you can tolerate just to break the tissue up.

If I were you you I'd check in with your Dr before you rub it.... just in case. I had a check up at one week out then a month out, but know I could have gone back at any time if I thought I might have a problem.

Its safer to do this than to risk anything being dislodged by rubbing it.

I was a band to sleeve and i had a large lump where they took the port out, i also had a lump around the drain tube, it was tissue swelling from trauma of surg.. but i too would check with the doc if your not sure where the swelling is coming from.....good luck vicki

Hi! Yeah it´s where the drain tube was, so I think maybe that´s it! Since I wrote the lump is less noticeable and softer, I´m guessing I´m less swollen, but I´m going to see the doctor nevertheless... Thank you very very much for all of your answers!! *hugs*
