I was so excited about getting my date yesterday, that I forgot to ask my doctor if I will have to do a liquid diet before surgery. If you have had a revision will you please let me know what you had to do? I see my doctor again in three weeks for all the official pre-op stuff. I would just like to have an idea of what to expect. Thanks!!!

I had my fill removed a week before my revision, then just did about 3 days of liquids pre-op.

I won't have to worry about getting the fill out since the tubing is cracked, broken off, and empty. LOL Three days of liquids doesn't sound too bad. Thanks for letting me know!

I just had to do 1 week of low carb, high protein, then nothing but clear liquids after a big dinner the night before surgery until midnight then after midnight completely NPO.

I had to do 4 weeks of liquids - Optifast. Wasn't all that bad and I was felt full. Also could have Crystal Lite, sugar free jello, etc. I still do mainly liquids with only 1 meal a day....just to much to try and get in now the sleeve!!!!
