Surely I am not the only person on this forum that is 60 or over having the sleeve surgery.

I would love to hear from anyone that has had the surgery and how you feel now.

My surgery is scheduled for Nov. 15th, Have had all the pre-op testing completed now just waiting for the big day to get here.

I completely understand the ' what ifs', including the ' what if I fail at this'?

Hi, well, saw my cardiologist in Erie Thurs. His major concern was where I,m having it. Good hospital and Drs, but no cardiac unit. 2 hr drive by ambulance. But he is only going to give moderate concerns for me, so it will be up to me. Since it is same hospital, just different city, I think I am going to see if they will accept my clearances, etc. and take me into their program. I have 5 more mos. to wait, but have already got almost all the clearances except a couple. Also have my weight loss going good. I hope so, because I will have second thoughts now if they won't. I have some blockages that cannot be fixed as too dangerous. So I guess we'll see. Wish me luck. Happy for all of you.

Can anyone over 65 help me figure out what I will owe after medicare pays?

Do you have any kind of additional coverage because medicare never covers everything?

You should be able to get a hold of medicare and find out how they pay in your state.
