back to work

Good morning everyone

question, how long did you take off from work. i'm trying to decide if i need to sign short term disability papers for when i am out or not. i thought maybe i could just put in for two weeks vacation and should be good with that. what do you think is that unreasonable to think i would be ready in two weeks to go back to work. how long were some of you guys out.

I had surgery on Wed and Dr. said I could go back to work at my check up on Monday. Then I told him I was a RN and he said go back whenever you want at your own pace. I have to take a fit test and need to be able to lift 50 lbs. I also have enough time save up so I will be taking 4 weeks off. My husband has an office job and he is planning on taking a week off. It depends on how you feel and what your job is. Best of luck to you.
