I'm getting sleeved Sept 17. I have 120 lbs to lose. I thought it would be good to have some friends going through the samething. Let me know..

Hi ! I am new to Vertical Sleeve Talk and I was sleeved on Sept 1. Had no complications, released from the hospital 2 days later. So far so good, trying really hard to get all the liquids in as I am not hungry at all. Looking forward to having friendly support in this new journey of my life.

hi i am scheduled for the 14th, can't wait! I have a dream of losing 100lbs, I am not sure that I will be able to do. i still don't have a lot of faith in myself, that's probably normal after all my previous diet failures. I sure hope this is the one that I can succeed at.

Well, we'll have our surgery on the same day! Awesome! I know it is so difficult to imagine a large weight loss, but I think we can do it! I'm pumped up and can't wait.

I am new and also a Sep sleever. My date is Sep 24th with Dr Aceves. I am very happy , scared, nervous, excited all at the same time.

hi guys! Sorry I haven't posted, was away for work.

My date is changed to the 29th, still with Dr.Rod, still in Juarez.

Had to postpone, as my dad is in the hospital. He will be ok, but I could not leave until he gets out, and that I know all is fine.

So, on to another 2 weeks of post-op... the 1st 2 weeks worked well = 14 pounds gone!

I am having mine done by Dr Aceves on 9/29 anyone else gonna be there around this time. I was scheduled with Dr Leino but due to a scheduling conflict I went with another dr actually less expensive. :thumbup:

Congratulations on your surgery! Glad to hear there were no complications. I'm having my surgery in 3 days. I am trying not to think to much about it or I'll get so excited the time will just creep by.

2 weeks from right now I will be sleeved!! Here I came scoot on down on the losers bench I'm on my way! :-D

My surgery is scheduled for Sept 20th. Been on the liquid diet for almost 26 hours now. Today is harder than yesterday. I think the excitement of starting wore off about 4pm. (o:

Anybody out there feel like a vampire? Feeling the need to feed on liquid protein and feeling better when you do? It's already been a creazy experience and I just got started.

Knowing I will have the help of the sleeve to reach my goals gives me hope I've never had before. So far - the best decision I've ever made.:thumbup:
