I am a little over 2 weeks post-op. I feel as I am fully recovered from surgery. I can drink and eat "normally", no problems. I feel great and have been active since surgery, although the last few days I have a lot of joint pain (knees and ankles) and my little and ring finger on my left hand tingles a lot. Has anyone else had these symptoms?

I have read that one possible side effect to PPI's is joint pain, but it is a rare side effect.

Any ideas?

Were you taking any ibuprofen or things like that prior to surgery for any reason? All I can think is if you have stopped you may be feeling pains you didn't know were there before. The joint pain could easily be from your new activity level but I don't know about the numbness. Definitely ask your doctor.
