She had her surgery on May 26th and she's been MIA since. Has anyone had contact with her? It's not like her not to post. She is always the first one here cheering us on....such a happy spirit!!

humm...i hope shes ok, i just sent her the pm's about the summer exchange....I'll have to check if she included her phone number...if she did maybe ill give her a call to check in with her.

She checked in shortly after I posted this thread. I guess she had a reaction to the anesthesia and worst of all, the dry heaves. :faint: Poor thing. She put some details on the May thread: http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=16512&page=19. I'm sure she will appreciate your concern.

ohh good ya never know the stuff we can start imagining when we don't hear from some one...that really sucks about the dry heaves though...and kim you probably should be taking ur pain meds, even if its just half a pill or something just to take the edge off.

Thanks guys! Sorry to worry you! I'm doing good now.. just trying to figure this whole eating mushies thing out! This is definitely a learning experience! I'm down 10.5 lbs since surgery, I'm sure that will slow way down now that I'm eating mushies! I've lost like 27 pounds since beginning this journey! YAA HOO!! Back at work today... everyone has been soo nice... I'm one of those big-mouths who has told everyone within earshot about the surgery so all of my co-workers and bosses and family and friends have been super - supportive! Hope you guys are doing well! Missed you! Sorry again to have caused concern. Kat - I got my name for the exchange and am ready to hit the mall!
