So my surgery is a week from today! wooohoo! Anyways, I was wondering what I was going to be able to do right after surgery. I know my surgeon requires the patient to be out of bed and going for a little walk down the hallway 4 hours post op. Will I be bored at the hospital? Should I bring my laptop and a book?

I did, but I was too wiped out to do anything but try and rest. But, you're young, it may be a piece of cake for you.

I brought my laptop and used it a little bit..but honestly...I was pretty tired and slept alot when I wasn't up walking up and down the halls.

It certainly can't hurt to bring it...I would rather have had it and not use it than not have it and want it! lol
