Pigging out before surgery???

Hi All,

I've not yet officially scheduled my surgery date but I'm pretty sure it's going to be the 3rd week in June....

It's seems like every since I narrowed down my surgery date, I've pigging out. I think I've gained at least 5 pounds the last 3 weeks. Does everyone go thru this phase before surgery? I just can't stop thinking like "this will be the last time I can pig out like this and eat whatever I want, so WHATEVER". I know it's terrible, but I just can't help!

Almost finished the first week of my pre-op diet, it is getting easier. The big kicker was learning that if I don't loose weight he will not perform the surgery as it would be too great a risk of liver damage.

before starting my diet I did have a few "last meals" but started trying the shakes for breakfast and lunch. I have lost 5lbs. My husband has been a hawk to make sure I stick to my diet.

Yeah Zephra you did get off track with the chocolate description but as I read it the picture of the chocolate was so vivid in my mind...lol. I had to laugh and remember which forum I was in. Good luck with your surgery:)

Sorry bout that. Momentary weakness.
