I Did It!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finished the half marathon yesterday. By mile 3, I was contemplating my exit strategy. By mile 8, I was optimistic about finishing. By mile 11, I had an exit strategy and almost took it!!!

However, I pushed through and crossed the finish line. I couldn't believe it.

That was definitely one of the hardest things I've ever done. haha:thumbup:

OH MY GOD...CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is so awesome and I'm sure you feel very, very proud as you should. You are an inspiration to me, I'm thinking about trying to jog one of these days.

OMG, that's AWESOME!! And very inspirational. I literally JUST got off the treadmill and still have sweat dripping onto my shoulders, and this was the first thing I read when I sat back down. Great timing--this was the first I've attempted to run in several years... so thanks for sharing that with us, and huge congratulations to you!! :thumbup1:

Thanks for the encouraging words! I didn't train as much as I wanted to, and I really wanted to be down another 21 pounds by yesterday before the race....I really think exercising is important to making this weight loss thing happen at a steady pace.

Yesterday definitely motivated me to get back into the gym 5-6 times a week instead of 2-3, though!

congratulations! that is a huge accomplishment!
