Pre-Surgery Food

So sorry - Posted this in the wrong thread. Should have been posted in beginners.

Hello everyone,

I am an American living in Norway and it will be here that I get my surgery. They told me that I will be doing a special diet before my surgery. It is to prepare my brain for the changes to come. The diet will be based on some Norwegian food...but my my question is this:

Did you guys get a special diet to prepare for your surgery? If so, what was it?

They told me I should try to lose some weight before. I am making a good effort and exercise nearly daily and eat small meals - often. I have not yet started this diet of 990 calories.

Please, let me know.

Thanks for reading and your input would be appreciated.

Rob
