I got a date yesterday! Mine is scheduled for January 14 and I am very excited. I had tried to do the band a couple of years ago and even had the surgery scheduled and then my insurance denied me. My parents are now paying for mine and I can hardly believe it is this close! I have decided to do the sleeve and I really think it is the right choice for me.

The surgeon's office just called and they have pushed back my date to January 28th. I can't say that I am not disappointed but at least it is not canceled. I just need to stay focused on my diet for a couple of more weeks.

I want a DATE!!!! No really congrats I am very thrilled for you.
