vegetables

I am having a high protein veg diet ,but I am unable to have many vegetables..i dont feel very hungry.....will this cause some deficiency... I am worried.

I haven't been banded yet (next week!) but have concerns about the same thing. I wonder if adding veggies (kale, spinach, cooked broccoli) in low volume protein smoothies with fruit might help get some in. I have done this and can't even really taste the greens if you add fruit. My vitamix breaks everything down really well. Experienced bandsters?

That's why you should be taking your vitamins post surgery to prevent you from losing nutrients you would normally Get from veggies But mite miss out on when you Are focusing on protien.
