2 1/2 Months In, Sample Meal Plans Please

I am 2 1/2 months newly banded and so far I am down 47 lbs including preop . I just got my 3 rd fill and I hope this month is much better . My doctor said I was eating too much processed carbs so I need more protein. My problem is I need some sample meal plans to help me plan my weeks to eat better. Any suggestions or websites ? I'm also using My Fitness Pal which has been part of my success too! I stay at 1000 calories but normally don't eat but abt 600-800 on average .

lean Protein, veggies and fruit...no need to not eat well :)

add seasonings of your choice, cheese (moderation)

grill it, bake it, roast it........processed to me is out of a box

so try to eat real food...prepare it yourself and then you know

exactly whats in it and its so much better for you

its prob not the response you wanted but its what i have done

to get me where i am at today..

Thanks

I make a batch of chix salad every Sunday for the work week and portion into half cup servings. I keep at work in fridge so i don't have to worry about what to eat every day for lunch. I change up what i eat it with...crackers one day, raw veggies the next, etc. this weekend i made turkey chili and i also portioned out into 3/4c servings and will give that as an extra option this week. It helps me stay on track during the week to remove the lunch stress. I only allow myself one lunch out a week with coworkers.

I love using the muffin tin recipes. On Sunday nights I make a few batches and then I don't have to cook all week. I just finished this weeks meals...scrambled egg cups, french dip and meatloaf muffins. I love that they are the perfect portions. I add a salad or steamed veggies and I'm all set. They freeze well too!

I get most of my recipes from emilybites. I've also gotten a few from Rachel Ray's recipes. Apparently the muffin tin recipes are quite popular now because if you google them you will find tons of ideas. Not all are healthy, but if you play with the recipe and make some substitutions you can bring the calorie count way down. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the recipes.
