Gas problems!

Curious if anyone else has terrible problems with gas? I don't mind the burping so much, but the tooting is driving me crazy! It is embarrassing and uncomfortable. I've been banded since the end of June, will this get any better? is it something I'm doing wrong? Help!

High Protein and lots of veggies are notorious gas makers. I don't even restrict my carb intake but because of all the protein and veggies I eat, I pretty much always have the toots. You're not doi

  • I've been banded since 9/5, and it is horrific sometimes. I'm just glad my husband thinks it's funny! Try Gas X strips and papaya enzymes, they do help (somewhat).

You're not doing anything wrong...it's just how the body seems to process the food. You could always try something like Bean-o to help.

Public toots are at your own risk though  on those occasions it's beno or gas-ex or a quick trip to the restroom for a tune up. :D

High protein makes it a part of life since surgery.

My husband and I have started to have "contests". It's not classy, but it works for us and it's good for a laugh. DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS AS AN ACTIVITY FOR EVERYONE, and I DO NOT ENGAGE IN THIS BEHAVIOR IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN, WHO NEED NO MORE EXCUSES FOR "POTTY HUMOR".

At least u can toot lol. My gas often gets trapped for whatever reason & causes me pain. I have found gas-x to work very well. Also anything with peppermint helps, and fennel tea also helps. Hope this helps!!
