Tired

Me exhausted guys! All I want to do is sleep. That can't be normal.

I'm taking the multi vitamin, I'm hydrated, and I'm trying to get my protein in with ease. Its been a little rough because nothing tastes good.

I'm not sure if I don't have enough nutrition in my body or if I'm possibly throwing a little pitty party because I'm starving and am craving something with substance. 5 days post op today.

Maybe a little bit of a pity party but I suspect it has more to do with you just needing to recuperate from surgery. People think that because it's laproscopic and you are home the same day it's not a big deal. Well..it is a big deal and you need time to feel normal again. And yes, just consuming liquids is tough. You will feel more satisfied with actual food..this is just the time where you have to tough it out unfortunately. Hang in there...you will feel better and all this will become a distant memory.

Day 6, 7, & 8 were my worse. You may need to increase your nutrition a bit to get to feeling better. I felt like a wet noodle on those days, I increased my food intake a little and it made all the difference in the world. By day 10 I felt very normal.

Hi there. Today is day 10 after surgery and now I feel great. Since I had surgery, if I felt tired I just took a nap. I think walking helped alot but it is natural to feel tired after surgery. I also agree that just being on the liquids does make you feel a lack of energy. Just a few more days until mushies!!!
