drinking?

Im a week and 2 days post op ,How do I know if I'm taking small enough sips or to big of a sip, Im becoming scared to drink.

  • I never really paid attention to the size of the sip. I just drank normally. Don't be scared, you'll be fine.

  • If you're not hurting, you're doing just fine. Just stay away from carbonated beverages for as long as you can. I think I waited 6 months to a year before even trying them but have no problem now.

Yeah. The only thing you need to worry about with drinking is not doing it with meals. I take normal size gulps when I drink.

Sometimes I get left shoulder pain when I am drinki ng. I contribute it to taking big gulps. So I slow down and try to take smaller sips.

Soda won't be an issue I never liked it even before , it makes my nose burn, weird I know lol
