Complication

I was banded May 2009 and lost over 150 pounds. In sept 2011 I got pregnant and delivered in May 2012. I was 10 pounds away from being back to my goal weight when I noticed I had no restriction. I went to get a fill and for 1 week I felt very slight restriction then all of a sudden it was GONE!! After fluoroscopy we discovered my port was leaking. I had surgery yesterday to replace it but the doc actually found that the tubing had coiled up on top of the port and every time it was accessed my tubing was being poked. It was a complication due from being pregnant, stretched out belly and tubing then losing the weight again.

Please be aware of this possibility and watch your restriction after delivering your precious little ones!
