Bad diziness

Hi I'm 11 days post op. feeling really good even started on mushy food today, was yummy. Anyway, sat down earlier for a nice night with my husband in front of tv and started to feel so dizzy, my hearing went, and everything got very weak. Felt hot also. I went and lay down and I fell straight asleep. My question is has anyone else had this kind of dizziness before? And what is the cause?

You need to call your doctor. That sounds like you were on the verge of passing out not just dizzy. Either way, neither are normal and there is no dumping with the band.

Call your doctor.

I'm not a doctor and I don't want to scare you but many years ago I had similar sumptoms and wound up having a massive stroke. My friend took me to an ER and they sent me home saying I had a virus. Three weeks to the day it happened again with the symptoms, that's when I suffered the big stroke. The doctor Said that the episode 3 weeks earlier was probably a TIA (transient ischemic attack) also known as a. Mini stroke. Modern medicine can help people faster now. So, please get your problem looked at ASAP. I was only 32 years old when I suffered the massive and was in a rehab hospital for six months.

I just think when you have symptoms you shouldn't wait. Best of luck to you!
