Nuquil

Is it ok to take NyQuil after being banded? I have a cold and could use a shot if NyQuil.

I don't see why not? If it has nsaids in it, that's probably not good for your stomach lining but as long as it's an occasional thing, why not? But, it would be best to check with your doctor?

Your doctor is the only one that can truly advice you whether you can or can not have a medicine. I have used Nyquil or Dayquil on occasion.

I just got over a cold and Nyquil/DayQuil Cold & Flu worked great. A doctor gave me the green light and it has no NSAIDS as it uses

Acetaminophen.

When you're sick, NyQuil is fine. You can even splurge with soup and crackers if you need to. Just when you get better go right back to your regularly scheduled program. :). Hope you feel better soon!!
