time off work

Did anybody else have a hiatal hernia that needed to be repaired during lap band surgery? If so how long were u off work for all together? My company has pretty good medical leve benefits were I get paid at 100% for 7 weeks so I'd like to milk it as long as possible!!! :)

I had one repaired but was only off for 3 days.

alot of us had hernias repaired but it didn't really impact, at least for me, the time I took off of work. FYI, I was off for a week though I was online at home part time on day 3 post op and then worked full time from home for a week before returning to the office.
i will have surgery on the 30th of July and my return date back to work is aug. 27th

You should be good with that amount of time off! I should of took longer..
