diaminlil,

Oh how I understand how you feel! I was so afraid to get my hopes up especially where my insurance was concerned.

Luckily, my insurance approved me, but, I have read a lot of posts here from people who have gone to war with their insurance companies and come out victorious.

Good luck !!! I will be rooting and (more importantly) praying for you. Keep us posted on your journey!

I lost the battle with my insurance company....that is why i have not been back! They paid for all of the work up....i called ahead of time and they said "No Problem" that they would pay for all the pre-op testing so I thought id be a shoe in............guess what....when i was ready for surgery.....they denied the key component......surgery! So what a waste of my time and consumers money!!! This is where our tax dollars go!! They should have never let me go thru this if they were not going to approve this. Appeals fell on deaf ears and Dr. Artuso and his office did not even try their best to help!!! This is so bogus....they had me believeing that they could get this approved!! Well i found a Dr. who has me on pills once again ..... i've lost 27 lbs. and am a bit jittery which i hate but have no choice. I won't be back...i'm done. Good luck to all...........i had no success.
