I'm 9 days post op and my port area is still swollen. Sometimes it get hard like a lump .. Can't wait until it goes down

I thought mine would never go down or not be swollen, it still sticks up when I lay down but it doesn't bother me like it used to. It took a few months though. Good luck

Yep, it's normal.. you've had major surgery and scar tissue is forming around the port and it will (or mine does) feel sort of hard and moveable under the skin. As long as your not in pain, running a fever or the port site is red your doing fine. BUT.. if it bothers you allot call the doctor and ask that's why you pay them.
