Like I muscle milk l shake has 20 grams per bottle I can't drink the whole bottle at a meal... So If I spend that out a little at each meal it's only 20 grams.... When my cousin had the band he said that any type of protien drink would get him sick the first 3 weeks ... So he lived on ice pops water juice ect...

Protein is essential after WLS. Make sure you are getting the amount you need daily. To calculate what your daily intake should be take your BMI and multiply it by .36. So if your BMI is 34 multiply that by .36 to see that your daily intake should be around 83 grams of protein a day.
