Vitamins

Hi, I was banded on 4/30/13 and since surgery I have lots of gas. I think its from the Celebrate vitamins, does anyone take an different band of vitamins without the gas issue?

Are you on a high protein/low carb diet? If so, that's likely your culprit rather than the vitamins.

Missy.... Is a high protien/lo carb diet what you would recommend for postop? Im just curious.. I am soaking up as much info from here as I can...

Also on the vitamins I dont know much about brands and/or gas problems... but I do know as for prices I find Vitacost.com to be the best! :)

I'm not a nutritionist, so I can only speak for myself. But I don't do the whole low carb thing. In fact, I don't restrict carbs at all, I just make sure the ones I have are healthy.

I have used the Celebrate brand vitamins since my pre op diet began. I've never had any difficulties with them at all.

I am finding that while my surgery gas has subsided, everytime I have anything to drink (still on full liquids) I get the shoulder gas pain. It then goes away in about an hour. Is this normal?
