How much weight did you lose in the first month?

By the doctors scales it was 22 pounds at my first fill which was 6 weeks after my surgery. By my scales it was 34. Obviously I like my scales better. Any lose is a good lose. I would say don't expect much and hope for the best. The first six weeks was the hardest for me tho because my appetite was fully back and it was torture trying to stick to the 900 calorie goal. But this is the worst part, and pardon the pun, but its all gravy from here on out!

The average weight loss rate with the Lap Band is 1-2 pounds per week. You're way over that average.

are you kidding?? that is a terrific loss for one month. you should be very happy with that progress and I'm sure the doctor will be as well.
