Puking is never, ever normal. In fact vomiting is very dangerous with the band because it can lead to slips. You were just banded not quite 3 weeks ago, are you supposed to be on solid food already

Salad might be pushing it... some folks with bands can't tolerate lettuce at all.

You may be having a stuck episode. It should pass in an hour or so? Then go back to liquids for at least 24 hrs. Call your doctor if it persists. I don't mean to kick you when you're down, but eat

I ate solids for the first time tonight. I had lettuce and tuna. I'm in pain, have to keep spitting, and puked. Is this normal? When will I feel better?
