I'm on day 5 of my liquid diet and it is difficult in only allowed to have the slim time shakes 3 times a day and low glycemic veggies. Raw or steamed. For myself adding instant coffee to the shakes makes them tasty and adding mrs dash no salt seasoning makes the steamed veggies bearable .

I am on day 12 and I have found it. To be much more of a mental challenge and less physical. I too am on a 3 week liquid diet. I rarely feel hungry, but do have cravings from time to time. I also find my sense of smell much keener now. When I get tempted I drink more water and it helps a lot.

Crystal light helps me with my sugar cravings as well :)

I had to do the liquid diet before my surgery for 10 days. I drank a lot of tea, which helped me and I was told that I could have sugar free popsicles which really helped.

It's weird we have the same dr and he didnt require me to do a pre op diet at all... Which I thought was odd...
