I'll have my first fill on 5/25... exactly 8 weeks post-op. That's the earliest he'll do it. Like you, I have NO restriction.

7-8 months after surgery is when I had my first fill. I had lost around 50 pounds during that 7-8 months, then it started to slow down so I got the fill. Now after coming here recently, I've realized I'm not in the norm.

Maybe not, but 50 lbs. in 7-8 WITHOUT a fill is nothing to scoff at. :clap2:

I think it really was because I didn't know anyone else who had the band. I went to a couple group meetings but they all had gastric. I had the surgery and really didn't "know" I should get a fill right away. I think cause I expected to lose weight afterwards and I think my brain did most the work....in the way that I thought, I have a small stomach, I can't eat very much, I'm not hungry, and I lost weight. Sadly I didn't do very much working out during that time.
