So I've done everything that needs to be done and even payed for the surgeon.....I'm still waiting for a date! How did it work with you other self pays? when did you get your dates? The waiting is driving me crazy!

I didn't pay until the morning of my surgery. Now of course it had to be a cashier's check or credit card but no payment til surgery.

I prepaid some things like the "facility fee" to get a discount of 20% which saved me a over 1K..but as soon as I did my pshychological eval and passed, I was given a date. everything happened within 3 weeks.

I paid up front. Surgery schedules are dependent on a lot of things. Don't stress. You day will come soon!
