Facial bruising

Last night I overate significantly. After a couple of hours of discomfort I vomited violently and it resulted in facial bruising. Lots of tiny purple spots around my eyes and on one side of my face down my neck! Anybody else ever have this happen?

hm...i have been on this forum for over a year now and first time i ever read something like this.....if i was you, id call and tell my dr and get their opinion....

Sounds like broken blood vessels to me. I highly recommend seeing a doctor for a check of it to rule out anything else though.

I am going to make an assumption....... please forgive me. It is not something I normally do.

But if I was having blood vessels popping in my face I would definitely have my eyes checked for popped vessels too. Just thinking out loud here.

wow if you vomited that hard you'd better go in and have the band checked also. I didnt do it that hard or that much and my band slipped was good. call ASAP

You popped blood vessels from the force of vomiting.

You need to contact your surgeon ASAP. That is extremely dangerous with your band and you need to be sure you didn't cause a slip or damage your stomach.
